Active Professionals Hike at Camp Daley with The Salvation Army

Join the Palibu Chamber of Commerce Active Professionals Committee on Friday, April 24th from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM for an unforgettable morning of connection, adventure, and discovery at the beautiful Salvation Army Camp in Malibu Canyon.

We’re thrilled to welcome special guest hiker Dave Schwarm, Camp Director of Camp Daley, who will kick off the experience with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of this incredible property. You’ll get to explore their resort-style pool, camp activity areas, conference facilities, and more—a hidden gem nestled right here in Malibu.

From there, we’ll head out on a private 1-mile hike (approx. 200 ft elevation gain) led by Active Professionals Committee Chair and longtime Palibu Board Member Chris Wizner. The trail leads to a stunning hilltop cross with panoramic views that will absolutely take your breath away—the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and connection.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better… we’ll wrap things up with archery! Yes—grab a bow and arrow and enjoy a fun, hands-on activity that brings out your inner adventurer.

This is not your typical networking event. It’s an immersive, high-energy experience designed to bring professionals together in a way that’s fun, authentic, and totally unforgettable.
